Des Moines NBC Station lies about Dean events tonight

They showed the local news after the Dean rally and said that Dean would be staying in Davenport tonight. That is a total lie. They said on the c-span coverage of the rally and on the Dean website that he would be in Cedar Rapids and in Iowa City after the Davenport Rally. To all those that swear that the media has been for Dean, you are deluding yourself. This reminds me of Watergate, think real hard about who the media wants to win.

1. I wouldn't assume it's a lie

Campaign schedules are notoriously fluid, and it may be that Dean's plans have changed and he will be staying in Davenport.

3. The news aired before the rally, on c-span it was announced live.

However they showed the previously aired news after the rally. Plus I know that both Jeanine and Joan Jett were their to campaign today from a few days ago. These events were planned atleast a few days ago. Why in the world would Dean stay in Davenport tonight with 2 other event planned?

5. WHO is just bad reporting

I usually watch that station, but they really don't know half of what they report - typical local news. They listed Stan Thompsen (the Repub congressional candidate from DSM who got blasted by Rep. Boswell in 2002) as our congressman last week. They are typical clueless media people who are spoon fed, no investigation or fact checking.
