Democrats might be thankful that Bush sneaked
and put Pickering on the bench. This was a hot issue for blacks. I think this will energize the blacks to come out to the polls. The way he did it was a slap in the face by sneaking him in with executive order and then to go to MLK grave yesterday and today announce Pickering. Democrats here is another ball don't drop it. However, I believe the Bush presidency is unraveling day by day on it's own and will do so w/o help from Democrats.

1. I feel the same way
I believe that it is arrogance that ALWAYS undoes a tyrannical government. Watching the Prince of Darkness, Richard Perle, and David Frum strut around town promoting there newest pack of lies just further proves the point.

2. I am with you Candy, but more importantly, the polls have to be LEGITIMATE
We in America are dealing (or are in denial) with the biggest elephant in the room, being electronic voting machines.

These machines that currently are owned by private, Republican dominated companies are essentially controlling the access to our evidence of how Americans voted. In essence, Houston, we have a PROBLEM.

I encourage you to look at this growing issue, and visit blackboxvoting.org to learn more about this issue that is becoming the biggest obstacle to our voting ethics and our Constitution.

If we arent choosing the candidates and the winners, then who is?

Thanks for posting.

3. This more than anything
tells me they already have it in the bag. There's no other reason you'd do this if you had to work with the other side.
