Bush is trying to "unite" our nation again...

That's why he chose to appoint Charles Pickering to the Appeals Court. <sarcasm off> So soon after returning from Atlanta yesterday from amidst the boos at the MLK crypt. So soon after skipping off to raise another million or so to add to his campaign warchest. But, he was able to charge all his expenses and scurity to the taxpayers.

As if that were not enough to piss off a vast portion of voters, he goes out today and appoints the very controversial Pickering to the Court in a recess appointment. Why?

Could it be that he is starting to worry about his base just a little? And as a sop to them, he appoints Pickering to the Court. Is that where the mindsets of Bush and Rove are at today? Are they starting to get concerned about their conservative base?

I did see that story on the local news here but they edited out the booing and protestors in the background...nothing more than a photo op if you ask me...I did see the whole thing on CNN no editing...nice to hear that people are finally waking up and seeing this fraud of a pResident...
