Bush's secret nickname from Skull & Bones
All this talk of Bush's bullying by giving staff demeaning nicknames reminded me of his own nickname from Skull & Bones.

When someone's initiated into Skull & Bones, they choose a "secret" nickname. It's their choice. Other members are to address them by it. For instance, George HW Bush chose "Magog."

Now, do you know what his son's is?

"Temporary."

"Temporary," because he couldn't think of one at the time. And he never got around to one, so "Temporary" stuck.

"George W. was not assigned a name but invited to choose one. According to one report, nothing came to mind, so he was given the name Temporary, which, it is said, he never bothered to replace; Temporary is how Bush's fellow Bonesmen know him today. (In recent interviews I asked a number of Bush's Bonesmen classmates about the name and elicited no denials.)"

4. Biblical. End times battle.
Edited on Wed Jan-14-04 05:16 PM by Tinoire
In the Bible, these are great hostile powers and the leaders of the last battle against the followers of Jesus Christ. These powers are controlled by Satan and will appear just before the end of the world. In Biblical literature, they are also the names of a king (Gog) and his land (Magog). In Rabbinical literature, Gog and Magog are symbols for forces that oppose authentic religion.

Ezekiel 38 and 39, and Revelation 20. Gog is king of Magog.

Jewish take on it: http://magog.web-site.co.il/gog/e_war.shtml
Catholic take: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/06628a.htm

Won't even touch the Muslim take but it's out there. Basically the big end-times battle against evil that the major Judea-Christian religions are expecting.

Well then he chose correctly. WHY are we the only ones who care about subconscious motives?

8. It's a creepy nickname, however you interpret it
Biblical: "Jewish tradition has it that there are 70 national angel some of which have fallen and others are still with God. The prophecy says that Gog -the angel of the nation called Magog- will be defeated after he leads an army to attack Israel from the four corners of the land."

And an English interpretation:
"The Lord Mayor's account of Gog and Magog says that the Roman Emperor Diocletian had thirty-three wicked daughters. He found thirty three husbands for them to curb their wicked ways; they chafed at this, and under the leadership of the eldest sister, Alba, they murdered them. For this crime, they were set adrift at sea; they were washed ashore on a windswept island, which after Alba was called Albion. Here they coupled with demons, and gave birth to a race of giants, among whose descendants were Gog and Magog.

A descendant of an evil fallen angel or a descendant of a demon. What say you now, bush?

11. It's been pretty clear for a while.
When I get home, I'll dig up 2 old threads for you, one by BeHereNow and one by Will Pitt, where certain aspects of Bush being a precursor to certain things were discussed. The day he landed on the aircraft carrier quoting Isaiah was very significant.

Gotta go. later

12. I just read this about Prescott Bush
Born in Columbus, Ohio to Samuel P. Bush, a steel manufacturer, Prescott attended Yale University and served as an Artillery Captain in World War I. A Yale University legend tells of Bush digging up the skull of Geronimo (1918) and giving it to the Skull and Bones society. He entered business in the organization of George Herbert Walker and Averell Harriman and became an officer in the Harriman Bank (later Brown Brothers-Harriman) in 1926. In August 1921 he married Dorothy, George Walker's daughter. He became a managing partner at Harriman in 1930.

17. Gog and Magog: coincidence? I think not
It's.......GOG!!!

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/click/movie-10002591/reviews.php?critic=all&sortby=default&page=1&rid=1126270

connect the dots:

During these Cold War years machines were regarded with apprehension by the public, who were worried that the enemy would surpass America in science and have weapons that would destroy them. The plot of the film centers around two robots, GOG and MAGOG, built in a neutral European country, but who enemy agents were able to slip a radio transmitter into that was not detected by American security. This highlights the American paranoia about foreigners and machines controlling the world. Even if these machines could do 1,000 times the work man can do, they were also 1,000 times deadlier than man and this political reactionary story dwells on the negative side of what the machines could do.

Are they not men?

Are they not Bushes?

Bushbots, sent from another place, to control the world?

20. Argh! I can't get to that thread! DU archives messing up- but here's some
Edited on Thu Jan-15-04 10:33 AM by Tinoire
The thread was: The Isaiah quote from ****: BE AFRAID!!! BeHereNow May-04-03 12:49 PM 225 http://www.democraticunderground.com/cgi-bin/duforum/duboard.cgi?az=list&forum=DCForumID70&mm=1360&archive=yes

The essence of that thread was that when Bush landed on that aircraft carrier quoting Isaiah, he was basically speaking code to 60 million fundies who have been conditioned to look for these codes and to take them seriously as the time to fight all evil in the name of God (you can throw Gays and Heathen Muslims in that group). Whatever God does, the devil imitates in mockery. Here's Will's part about the verse itself:

This was a quotation from Chapter 61 of Isaiah, the very book Jesus Christ used when proclaiming that Isaiah's prophesies of the Messiah had come true. Using this passage from Isaiah, Jesus presented himself as the Son of God in Nazareth. Thus it is told in Luke, Chapter 4, Verses 16-22:

"And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up; and he went to the synagogue, as his custom was, on the sabbath day. And he stood up to read; and there was given to him the book of the prophet Isaiah. He opened the book and found the place where it was written, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord." And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. And he began to say to them, "Today this scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.""

Unfortunately BeHereNow's book-mark (which I even googled to doublecheck) takes you to a thread from 3 months later. I tried a short manual search in the archives but same thing. It will take me a while to manually find that original thread which was the most informative (if I can)

But I did find these:
did * announce the Second Coming?

http://www.democraticunderground.com/cgi-bin/duforum/duboard.cgi?az=show_thread&om=17559&forum=DCForumID66&archive=

and here is Will Pitt's final article on the subject: http://truthout.org/docs_03/050503A.shtml

Bush has got the same Messiah complex Hitler had, is just as mad and a helluva lot more dangerous to the world due to the technology at his disposal and the number of followers he has.

--

This whole thing stinks to high heaven. 1. If the books of Daniel, Revelations are to be taken literally (well as literally as you can take an allegorical book like Revalations/Apocalypse), then Bush is the beast heralding the arrival of the AntiChrist.

If not, then Bush and the cabal are cynically exploiting the beliefs of 45+ million Fundamental Christians whose 'Christian' beliefs were shaped by that very same cabal. People like Falwell, Graham, Robertson, LaHaye, and Ralp Reed have been working hand in hand with this cabal for over 40 years.

They wrote the books, set up the TV shows, honed in on a few politically expedient bible verses and presto- 45+ brain-washed fundies ready to Sieg Heil their way into whatever religious wars bring you the most oil and the best geo-political re-arrangements.

Either way the Bushistas are absolutely evil and ARE the fulfillment of the prophecies whether or not they're deliberately self-fulfilling them.
