Inflation? What inflation?
My niece's tuition is going up again (guess who helps out). Food is going up. Gas is still higher. What is the inflation rate for last year? anyone know yet? Everything seems higher in price.

5. What BULL-I love the way they massage the stats
My grocery bill has gone up 20% in a year, gas and oil for heating have risen wildly, and I just paid $1.59/gal for regular at my cheapie gas station-up $.12 from a week ago.

No, there's no inflation! :eyes:

7. You believe the government? Please.
Ask people how much prices have risen for commodities and general cost of living. Maybe you're lucky enough not to live in a large urban area, but those of us that live in civilization pay dearly for it.

8. It's satire, Rose

Eat more steak and just buy the new pills Bush's pharmaceutical cronies are working on to prevent mad cow. Don't worry. It's safe. The only thing you have to be afraid of is terrorists and Homeland Security has made everything much safer.

:hi:

13. I agree...it doesn't seem correct.
I would like to know what went into the market basket and in what percentages. That would help us to understand the inflation rate. I can tell you this, inflation is going to really pick up in a couple of years.
