Poll question: Who should be in charge of the RICO investigation of the BFEE?
Edited on Sun Jan-11-04 01:26 PM by barbaraann
After we win the White House and the Congress back this year, I believe that we should go after the BFEE with the full force of our legal system and restore the faith of the American people in justice and democracy. Who should be in charge?

1. Janet Reno
as a special prosecutor! That'll really piss off the right wing!

3. NOT Janet Reno...
her ties to the neocons are too deep. She didn't protect Clinton for the first minute against the neocon take-over.

Reno sucks.

:kick:

6. I voted Sp[itzer, but I am not 100% sure
Definitely NOT Reno (whose ties to Clinton make her suspect as a partisan anbd a coveruper)

But there may be others.

The Conn3ecticut AG (name?) is a possibility too. But it MUST be an independent and tough criminal prosecutor.

I would love to do it and there are hundreds of GREAT prosecutors in the federl system who could CREAM Bush et al.

8. And it might be better to keep Spitzer on Wall Street crime, too.
I think a lot more remains to be done regarding the financial/investment industries.

9. It would have to be someone non-partisan
The Clintons would give the appearance (to the country) of having biases.

It would have to be a non-partisan investigation, above question or reproach, to be seen as legitimate by the American People.

11. Good point. The Freepers keep harping on the fact that the
prosecutor in Palm Beach investigating Rush is a Democrat and use this to excuse Rush's criminal behavior.
