Yahoo Message boards
deny me service to their message boards if I say something even slightly against the GW regime. The comments that I make are not vulgar and do not use profanity, but I still get the boot anyone have the same problem? I am trying to prove that fascism is alive and well today.

1. yahoo is a private business and not bound by the first amendment

It is their site, and they can forbid any speech they wish, just as any private business can.

2. This is probably what's going on there
*After you post a certian number of posts in a certain span of time, yahoo automatically prevents you from posting for a while. I don't know how many posts, or what the time frame is, or how long the "denial" lasts, but I've had that happen to me several times.

If you're on a roll, tho, its easy to sign up for another yahoo id - which you can use unti the "denial" on the other one times out.

Btw, I've been arguing with those rw kooks on the yahoo boards since the last general election campaign, thru 9*11, and still do. Back then, and especially after 9*11, you'd hardly ever see a negative comment about bush*. These days the bushbots are in a very small minority. ;D

3. depends...
I found that if there are complaints from members of the group you post to, they'll boot you. They do that withuot warning much of the time. Yahoo forced a shut down of TvNewsLies.org a few months back, based on FALSE complaints - but also cited that they were "unAmerican." Obviously, they have an agenda. Duh!

4. do you mean the "Groups"?
If so, it would depend upon the moderator.
