1. Tweety screaming about #?
This, along with Peter Jennings reaction to the story. My God I think I've died and gone to heaven-if only for a day.

9. Unthinkingly...the CIC- leader of the free world, finger on the button guy
And this is supposed to be - uh, better than a liar?
That's like: the Secret Service decided to have him run away on 9.11...So, National Security, War & peace find the boy king ...unthinking? So, is he still growing in the job then?

2. To Bad I Missed It:
I don't watch Tweety's Bush lovefest any more but would have loved to see him go after Bush.

5. He Wasn't Salivating at the End

Wups, the other thread is sure to be locked so this is a re-post:

Tweety: Shrub Just Went Along UNTHINKINGLY

After hearing Rahm EMMANUEL and another guest lay out the case for Shrub LIED he said, "Rahm, you've worked in the WH, I've worked in the WH. Here's what I think happened: Some hawk like (the Libby(sp) guy in CHEENEE's shop), came in with the story and (Shrub) WENT ALONG WITH IT UNTHINKINGLY."

In the next segment, SHARPTON said that if it were the CLINTON Administration, there would be a frenzy for impeachment.

About "bring'em on" - Tweety says it's JUST part of Shrub's personality, cowboy charm. Tweety, tweety, tweety.

Don't sound like salivating.

6. It takes a pig to sniff out the truffles
(That's courtesy of Edward Albee's "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe".)

Hey, a story's a story's a story.

America loves tearing down the mighty; always has and always will. No amount of media control can totally subvert the free market of schadenfreude...

Cheney can't survive this, can he?

8. Then I'd like them explain this story?
<snip>
An intelligence consultant who was present at two White House briefings where the uranium report was discussed confirmed that the President was told the intelligence was questionable and that his national security advisors urged him not to include the claim in his State of the Union address.

"The report had already been discredited," said Terrance J. Wilkinson, a CIA advisor present at two White House briefings. "This point was clearly made when the President was in the room during at least two of the briefings."

Bush's response was anger, Wilkinson said.

10. Anger - see? Unthinking. Tweety was right! Not W's fault
Them people made him angry and took his thinkingness away. Perfectly understandable.
