Jennings just reported the story on the bogus Niger uranium intelligence
Edited on Tue Jul-08-03 06:15 PM by Dover
fraud by Bushco and stated that ordinarily this would be viewed as an extremely serious situation for any presidency.....but Bush is a popular president and most Democrats are so far remaining silent on the issue.

So this is the Dem leadership's position? Bush is popular so we shouldn't step on any toes?

ON EDIT: Oops....I see another poster beat me to it. So this is a dupe.

1. At least I'm not the only one noticing the absence of the Democrats on
this very important story. At least Daschle has asked for further review but I can't name anyone else who has spoken out except Kucinich and Dean.
