Ed Schultz

I ran across this new radio show yesterday while flipping through the dials and it sounds very promising. He's an unabashed pro-labor Democrat, and one who sounds like he has the guts to stand up to the likes of Limbaaah and Hannity.

Did a web search on him today and found out that he has had a popular radio show in Fargo, N.D. for many years, and just went nationwide on January 5th - four days ago.

Here's a great chance to get liberal talk radio on the air! I have just taken ten minutes out of my time today to look up all of the radio stations in the local area with talk formats, and to write letters to them asking them to consider adding the Ed Schultz show to their lineup.

He is on Monday-Friday from 3-6 PM Eastern time (2-5 Central, 1-4 Mountain, 12-3 Pacific). (Added bonus: He is in the same time slot as Sean Hannity, so especially write to those stations currently carrying Hannity, and ask them to drop Hannity and replace him with Schultz.)

It's quick and easy to do - look up all the talk radio stations in your area in the yellow pages and write them each a letter asking them to add Ed Schultz. I just did.

1. Schultz is refreshing to hear

It's great to see a sucessful liberal talk show on radio. I think he'll gain even more traction once AnShell debuts. My dream lineup would be to have him, Al Franken, Mike Malloy, Randi Rhodes, and Jim Hightower.

Former conservatives seeing the light and coming over to our side are *always* welcome! Besides Ed Schultz there are also Arianna Huffington, David Brock, and others. Let's keep the welcome mat always rolled out for these people.
