CNN re-running the WMD poll
Edited on Fri Jan-09-04 03:29 PM by Siflnolly
Dunno if it's because they aren't getting the results they want or not, but it looks like CNN is re-running their poll on whether the lack of WMD means the war wasn't justified:

1. Something's fishy.
It doesn't show the total number of votes cast. And it still says 0% to 100%.

Somethings's off.

2. It doesn't post the total number of votes when there are too few
I think they must have just put it up not too long ago, so there aren't enough to post the total, and all those who have voted so far, are voting no...

10. What kind of question is that?
So its about the weapons PROGRAM? I do not recall those bastards squawking about a weapons PROGRAM in the march to war. Disgusting.

13. Just voted
now it's 3% yes 4 votes
97% no 152 votes

When the poll was up yesterday, I e-mailed Wolfie that I objecting to the way the poll is phrased; during the lead up to the war, Chimp was claiming that Iraq possessed WMD. He didn't qualify that with WMD program, that came later, when no weapons were found.

17. My email to Wolf Blitzer...
Edited on Fri Jan-09-04 04:34 PM by KansDem
After yesterday's poll, I emailed Mr. Blitzer:

Dear Mr. Blitzer;

Let's think back to Mr. Bush's State of the Union speech. As I'm sure we both recall, he said Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, NOT a weapons of mass destruction PROGRAM. He even listed the weapons and their quantities during that speech.

We've been at war with Iraq for almost a year now, and NO weapons of mass destruction have been found. Now you're saying we went to war to stop Iraq's weapons of mass destruction "program?" Sorry, no fair changing the rules during the game.

Please be more honest in your reports on Bush and the Iraqi War. Believe me, you'll feel better for having done so!

Sincerely,
(name)

So far all I've received is the usual CNN auto response.

He and the Whoreth Estate, however, CANNOT be left to redefine the Iraqi invasion as "looking for WMDs 'programs.'"
