RW panties all Wadded up in Mississippi
Edited on Fri Jan-09-04 03:10 PM by BOSSHOG
The Neanderthal wing of the neanderthal party is upset because one of their cavemen hasn't declared to run against Dem Congressman Gene Taylor. Taylor, a moderate Dem and Coast Guard Vet hosted GEN Clark last week and said, "when bush was chasing girls at Yale, Wes Clark was chasing Vietcong in Nam." Locals are beside themselves. The RW is hoping St Rep Joey Fillingane will run. That dumbass' sole claim to fame is that he filed a bill which resulted in "In God We Trust" posters being put up in all state schools. Taylor voted against bush's tax cuts, against tort reform and against Medicare overhaul.

A recent LTTE cleverly stated that "Taylor does not vote for his constituents, he votes the Democratic Party Line" (This is in South Mississippi where there ain't too many millionaires, just a whole bunch of poor dumbasses who write to the local papers urging people to get rid of what's good for them.)

The filing deadline is today.

1. You mean Taylor voted against tax cuts, etc.
Gene looked great at the appearance with Clark at the War Memorial Building.

I loved hearing him during the committee meeting on tax cuts on c-span talking about "fat cats".

He tells it like it is, a trait that should be admired down in Jerry Clower country.

2. Maybe we should run Congressman Taylor for VP?
I LOVE that line!! Its about time a Democrat grew balls and actually called out Dumb-ya on his past bad behavior.

Yes, putting up posters with pithy saying will really save this country!

I'm surprised they can't dredge up on single, little ward heeler even to file. That's pretty pitiful.

Three cheers for my cousins in Waveland!

7. Hey, Chief
Let us know if someone files before 5pm (isn't that the deadline)...Especially since the Repubs targeted Gene since Bush carried his district so strongly.

9. Under the wire:
Hopefuls qualify for races

By Andy Kanengiser
akanengiser@clarionledger.com

Four Republicans, including state Rep. Mike Lott of Petal, qualified Friday to run
for Democratic 4th District U.S. Rep. Gene Taylor's seat in Congress.

Lott, whose state House District 104 spans portions of Forrest and Lamar
counties, has served four years. He's president of the Mississippi Legislative
Conservative Coalition and a small business owner.

Aside from Lott, there were few new names appearing on the deadline day for
candidates to qualify in the four congressional races.

Others qualifying in Jackson for the 4th district race were Carl Cleveland Mertz
and Steven McCaleb, both of Long Beach, and Randy McDonnell of Biloxi.
There's also Reform Party candidate Tracella Lou O'Hara Hill of Hattiesburg.
