"politely waiting for the toilet"

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/3376459.stm

Australians given mid-air toilet advice
The United States' latest directive on airline security is causing concern in Australia.

Qantas airline said on Wednesday that it would comply with the demand, issued by the US Transport and Security Administration (TSA), just before Christmas, that passengers are asked not to congregate near the planes' toilets.

-snip-

Darrin Kayser, a spokesman for the TSA - part of the US Department of Homeland Security - told BBC News Online that passengers could still queue for the toilet, but that congregating in groups would be discouraged.

He said it was up to flight crews to distinguish between "politely waiting for the toilet" and huddling.

-snip-

"We frequently say security is not a spectator sport... we can't be successful about stopping terrorism without everyone playing a role," he said.

no congregating, no huddling - got that!

1. hah
I can see it now. Numbers will be issued and a loudspeaker system will be used to ensure "orderly" visits to the john.

3. So who exactly "huddles" while waiting to use the john?
Hopping on one foot, sure.

Standing with legs crossed, quite often.

But huddling? I don't think so.

4. methane bombs
Huddle only at the risk of being charged under the Rico statutes. Methane for personal use is ok - but talk it over with a buddy and you can do hard time.
