However, one problem with the Kurd and Shia recruitment for such death squads. The Sunnis have perfected this and for one reason or another are better at this particular technique than the other two groups. At least this is verdict of history with the development of Sunni dominance in the area. Of course this is not only based upon their superior skills in black arts of war and oppression but also in their patronage of education and commerce and their relative tolerance of differing religions and sects.

Because we differ culturally on how we envision political and economic organization and their relative success, we are somewhat blind to the historical trends. Those forces which we empowered in latin America by mobilizing death squads and terror campaigns WERE ALREADY THE DOMINANT SOCIAL FORCES IN THEIR COUNTRY. The death squads were necessary as Noam Chomsky says "to deter democracy." Democracy was the incipient trend which would have overturned the inequitable distribution of wealth in those places threatening American markets and indigenous elites supported by right wing militarists.

So as outside manipulators, we envision that we can play this card, and impart these murderous skills to the previous outgroups in Iraq and reverse the historical trend. Another permutation of hell on earth.
