It's been called another skirmish in the "culture war". Dramatic scenes of people praying on the courthouse steps of Montgomery, Ala, over removal of a monument of the Ten Commandments dominated the news last week.

The main skirmishes going on, however, have been the politicians and religious/political figures knocking each other out of the way to get to the cameras to join in the pander parade...
