Ann Coulter's Latest
She writes about how Democrats have apparently claimed that Saddam has started building weapons of mass distruction since the invasion. Apparently our foolishness has led us to believe that our invasion inspired Saddams scientists to finally get to work on building those weapons of mass destruction.

Boy if we really believed that we would be stupid.

I think she's trying to paint with a large brush--of course many (including me) do believe that the administrations actions in Iraq may end up being a recruiting opportunity for Terrorist organizations. So perhaps she just got confused.

She also accuses us of being on the side of the terrorists--which you are going to hear a lot from the hard right. You are either with the Conservative movement or you are with the Terrorists.

2. ok, I tried, I really did.
I gave it my best effort, but simply could not finish reading her article for fear my head would cave in.

I will bookmark for later, maybe some more coffee and a xanax will help.

4. Nah! It Was Going Down While Reading
Once you stopped reading her nonsense, it returns to where it was before. (Undoubtedly, twice that of Ms. Coulter's, at least.)

5. Either she lives in a Parallel Universe
Or she's the poster child for projection.

"Liberals simply refuse to consider thoughts that would interfere with their lemming-like groupthink. They hold their hands over their ears like little children who don't want to listen to mother."

Paging Dr. Freud.....

6. And people actually buy that nonsense
Shame on her. She's too intelligent not to realize to some degree what she is doing.

7. projection is one of the right's main rhetorical weapons
it's everywhere!

Remember this doozy, from Bush's SOTU:

"Throughout the 20th century, small groups of men seized control of great nations, built armies and arsenals, and set out to dominate the weak and intimidate the world.

In each case, their ambitions of cruelty and murder had no limit...."

"Now, in this century, the ideology of power and domination has appeared again and seeks to gain the ultimate weapons of terror. "

11. "small groups of men siezed control of great nations"
How ironic.

This is what history will say of * and his neocons.

8. 'blind cleric?"
yeah, damn that Bill Clinton for investigating, trying and convicting those responsible for bombing the WTC the first time! what was he thinking? he could have used this as an excuse to instigate a global war on brown people! and what was he doing trying people for crimes? he should have been arresting them and moving them to Cuba! imagine, giving Arabs and muslims the same civil rights and Muricans! damn liberals.

and Ann, sweetie, you mention the failure of the Liberal stance over 50 years. would those be the same fifty years that saw the US rise from regional power to sole sumpremacy on the planet? a power unmatched in history? guess not.

this woman is delusional, mentally ill. She needs therapy and medication but instead she is allowed to indulge her fantasies on TV and in print. It's beyond sad.

12. My response to mAnn oCulter
"RE: My God I never knew I was a terrorist

I feel like I was lost and now I've been found all thanks to you. I thought all this time that I just simply despised Bush (a.k.a. Deserter Boy) and his policies, but in fact it's all because I'm an Arab terrorist! Thank you All Mighty Ann, my true hero and savior. Well, off to blow something up now. See 'ya!"

If there is a God she will respond so I can have some more fun with this at her expense.

Before the war, they said Saddam Hussein – their favorite world leader behind Jacques Chirac

Okay, let's debunk this one real quick. I believe it was Rummsfeld, Bush sr., and Dole who thought the world of this guy prior to the Persian Gulf war.

– though it's a little odd to be lectured on nuance from people who can grasp no difference whatsoever between Bill O'Reilly and Jesse Helms.

This one is simply ridiculous. I can grasp the difference between Bill O'Reilly and Jesse Helms. Jesse Helms was straight forward. He was terribly misguided and beyond ignorant, but he didn't bullshit. O'Reilly is a chronic liar, O'Reilly (the registered Republican "Indepenedent") is a pompous ass with his big head put up there.

With all their pointless chitchat about Osama bin Laden

Holy shit... How terrible of us to focus on the man responsible for 3000 INNOCENT AMERICANS' DEATHS!! This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that she herself is a traitor. We still want Osama's head, she wants to give Bush some head, conflict of interest not to mention treason.

16. And regarding this statement:
"Revert to the Democrats' tried-and-true method of abandoning the region to any local Pol Pot who might turn up?", I might point out that we abandoned SE Asia under a REPUBLICAN administration. Also, does the first amendment give Annthrax the right to call me a terrorist and a traitor and urge that I be shot? Sounds like slander and incitement to me. Could some of the more legally gifted that might be reading this enlighten me concerning this, I'd love to see a class action lawsuit from all of us Democrats/liberals charging her with defamation of character. I know that that sounds facetious but I wish something could be done to muzzle these hatemongers. It especially angers me because I'm a Vietnam combat veteran who also left a leg there. Having defenders of chickenhawks impugning the citizenship and allegiance to country of people like me and urging violence against us because of our political beliefs absolutely enrages me.
