What Happened in Kerry's Vietnam Battles?
'Nightline' Speaks to Witnesses of Disputed Firefights

By ANDREW MORSE

Oct. 14, 2004 — In the controversy over Sen. John Kerry's service in Vietnam, Americans have heard from Kerry, from the crew of the Navy Swift boats he commanded, and from other Swift boat veterans who question the official account of a 1969 incident for which Kerry was awarded a Silver Star. But there is one group they have not heard from: the Vietnamese who were there that day.

1. I wish that someone would undertake an expose of
"Latch" Hoffman, the man of wounded pride who started the whole Swiftboad madness. He has blood on his hands, but stays away from the fray and uses O'Neill as the front man. (which O'Neill is more than happy to do, btw.)

2. The Swiftboat Liars can't be regarded as anything but liars.......

according to the accounts of the Vietnamese who fought there. Who would know any better than the natives there? It burns me up that these charletans are allowed to air lies on the airwaves just to attack and criticize Kerry.....

3. "Mad Dog" Hoffman should be exposed for the war
criminal he is. Not that many people read "Tour of Duty" nor do they read the Washington Post so it isn't exactly well known. Too bad.

4.  The swifties went back to Vietnam
to try to find witnesses to back their story, and couldn't find any!
The witnessess all support Kerry's version. It wasn't a "skinny starving VC kid in a loin cloth" after all, according to witnesses.
Also alot more gunfire was going on then swifties claim.
