And Time Warner’s chairman and CEO, Dick Parsons, doesn’t need to articulate his politics since he’s a Republican insider from way back.

4. No wonder Chris Mathhews just about had a stroke...
when on his show last week, Bill Maher mentioned Bush and booze in the same sentence. Tweety tensed all up and said, very seriously, "You can't say that." He was scared shitless.

They probably all have clauses in their contracts saying they can be immediately fired for insulting his highness.

An BTW, this article make me sick to my stomach.

5. I saw that show
too, NightOwwl, and Matthews did appear terrified of letting any comment about Bush's drinking go unchallenged for even a second (which makes all the rumors that Bush is still drinking even more interesting). I'm used to seeing Matthews act irrational -- I thought he'd blow a gasket going after Dan Rather last month (he was practically squeaking with excitement), and any mention or apparently even the slightest thought of Hillary Clinton makes Matthews react as compulsively and mindlessly as one of Pavlov's dogs. But he did look genuinely afraid after Maher's offhand remark, and I really can't recall seeing him look that scared on any other show. He'd be an embarrassment on a truly unbiased news channel, but MSNBC (and CNBC, and NBC News) have been trying to be Fox Lite for years now...
