Moore's answers to my questions about his stance on Israel were surprising, but that doesn't excuse the distortions in his film.


Who says that G-d doesn't have a sense of humor?

My regular readers will remember that at the Democratic National Convention, I found myself sitting a few feet from the filmmaker Michael Moore. I had been eager to talk with Moore about his positions on Israel, since I had read several negative comments attributed to him, but when I tried to speak with him, he turned me away.

1. Did the Rabbi see the film?

Because if he did Moore does not make Saddam out to be a nice guy, what he does show is the people of Iraq leading gentle, ordinary lives through shots of them flying kites and the like.

This is a point where Republicans can not draw distinctions. They can not separate Saddam from the Iranian people and therefore can not follow Moore's narration.

2. They didn't get around to discussing stealing Palestinian land,

and slaughtering innocent women and children with American bombs and rockets, just asking?

and I strongly doubt he said all that to moore.
what else would you expect from a guy who listens to fox and scar-boy.
