Mark Morford: Sentient non-idiots for Kerry
And isn't it funny how at least 13 members of Congress have actually requested that the United Nations monitor this year's U.S. presidential election, just because, just in case, just to ensure there's no voter rolling and election rigging and chad hanging and outright shameless Florida reaming like last time?

And isn't it even more funny how, when firebrand U.S. Rep. Corrine Brown, from Florida, brought the issue up on the floor of Congress, she was actually shouted down by the Republicans, scolded that she was out of order and told her comments should be stricken from the record?

And they all screamed and stomped and huffed and puffed and said no way should there be any oversight of this year's election, even though there is indeed a gross pile of mounting evidence that there's nothing stopping BushCo from simply stealing the election all over again. Isn't that funny?

It's enough to make you laugh 'til you gag. And choke. And move to Canada.

1. it doesn't seem popular on either side,
but I personally wouldn't mind. I think we've shown just how far we can be trusted to run our own elections.

2.  If the LYING KING steals
this election, I recommend a general strike. 50% of working Americans not going to work will drown Bush in days. Shrubs* wealthy patrons will be the first to call for his impeachment, they stand to lose whole companies if a strike like this takes place.

4. You'll never get the working masses to do that . . .
...they can't afford to. It's a great idea - just like the idea that if everyone refused to file their income taxes until we get tax reform, what would the IRS do? But you never get that kind of solidarity when people need their jobs or fear being put in jail.

3. I certainly think there should be international monitors in Florida
Jeb Bush is determined to run a crooked election. Boss Tweed didn't care about for whom the people voted as long as he did the nominating; Jeb Bush doesn't care who get nominated as long as he decides who can vote and he decides which votes can be counted.
