our people? please don't include me in the collective 'our' to which you refer. Your values are petty and devious.

"...if the values are good enough for our people, they ought to be good enough for others."

Okay, this is a massive misnomer on a whole bunch of levels... it assumes that
a) everyone in 'Murika shares the Mad Chimp's value system.
and;
b) asserts a flawed premise that all cultures want to have an 'American lifestyle'.
and;
c) in this context implies a thinly veiled threat that to not accept 'Murika's values as the epitome of all cultural values can be cause for invasion.
