Fox's Weeklong Attack On Government Regulations Was Dreamed Up By Ailes - MediaMatters
http://mediamatters.org/research/201109260019

During the week of September 12, Fox's "straight news" division launched a weeklong attack on government regulations, including child labor, workplace safety, and civil rights laws. Fox's Attack On Regulations Echoed A GOP Talking Point

AP: "The House Republican Agenda This Fall Will Focus On Repealing Environmental And Labor Regulations." On August 29, the Associated Press reported that repealing regulations would be a priority for the Republican Party:

Of course, Deregulation and transferring as much of the tax burden from the very wealthy to the middle class were critical factors in how the GOP created the Trickle Down-Deregulation Disaster of 2008.

2. If repealing child labor laws doesn't tell you where they're at, nothing will.
I can hardly believe that. But, OTOH, the more heinous they appear the better.

3. Deregulation guts the mid sized corporations. I don't know that it creates jobs.
Someone should look into this. Because if the 'job creators' are actually not creating jobs with fewer regulations the people should know this is a lie.

4. A Chamber of Commerce wet dream come true. Just think of the possibilities. Repeal of the child
labor laws would allow children as young as 6 to work half days and go to school the other half. Of course, there wouldn't be any minimum wage laws so the kids could work for the job training and the experience. Repeal of work place safety would see the return of that wonderful natural mineral, asbestos, to industrial use for all of use to breathe in. And those pesky civil rights laws would eliminate all protections for women and minorities. Wet dream indeed.
