Such was the case when an ex-White House terrorism official accused a former CIA director of withholding information that might have prevented a 9/11 attack, Ray McGovern reports.

Bulletin for those of you who get your information only from the New York Times, the Washington Post and other outlets of the Fawning Corporate Media (FCM): Former White House counterterrorism czar Richard Clarke has accused ex-CIA Director George Tenet of denying him and others access to intelligence that could have thwarted the attack on the Pentagon on 9/11.

Deliberately withholding critical intelligence from those who need it, and can act on it, is — at the least — gross dereliction of duty.

The more so if keeping the White House promptly and fully informed is at the top of your job jar, as it was for Director of Central Intelligence Tenet. And yet that is precisely the charge Clarke has leveled at the former DCI.

In an interview aired on Aug. 11 on a local PBS affiliate in Colorado, Clarke charges that Tenet and two other senior CIA officials, Cofer Black and Richard Blee, deliberately withheld information about two of the hijackers of American Airlines Flight 77 — al-Hazmi and al-Mihdhar. 1. First, you have to believe that an airliner struck the Pentagon. Not a shred of

evidence to support that. There were dozens of surveillance and security cameras that were in positions to film the aircraft striking the Pentagon yet there is NOT ONE that shows even an aircraft on approach.

Not to say that Tenet didn't withhold info. I feel sure he did.

5. It's not like no other airlines struck any buildings on 9-11

Actually there were numerous witnesses to the American Airlines 757 colliding with the Pentagon.

There are photographs of the aircraft debris in and around the Pentagon which is easy to Google. Also the DNA from most of the passengers from flight 77 was found from the crash site.

6. That's a crackpot site

For example, take the thermite nonsense they are pushing. The amount of thermite required to take down a building could not be hidden, if it is even possible to pull off at all. There would be numerous witnesses and it would require numerous conspirators to pull it off. Plus how did they manage to get the aircraft to hit the same floors that the alleged thermite was installed?

It's obvious that the buildings collapsed from the very same floors that the enormous aircraft entered is because the enormous aircraft and the ensuing large fires caused the buildings to collapse.

The Nixon administration couldn't even pull off a stupid burglary without getting caught. How could anyone pull off this massive conspiracy requiring thousands of people without getting caught. Basic common sense should tell anyone the this truther stuff is complete BS.

8. Thermite can be painted on

And the WTC had shut downs a week before 9/11. Some employees said they heard loud noises in the floors above them or below them before 9/11. They took video of what appeared to be cement dust in their offices. The WTC was losing money. There were a lot of offices that were empty. The maintenance man who saved people on 9/11 and worked there for 20 years, said he heard and felt an explosion in the basement just a second before the plane hit 80 some stories above. He went to the basement and saw that there had been explosions in the basement. And how does the lobby look like a bomb went off, but floors above were intact. How come we heard tapes of firemen say there were pockets of fire, and they could put it out? Jet fuel loses it's heat in a building rather than a contained tank. And yes how come the Pentagon can't show us a video of a "plane" hitting the Pentagon? And had it been a passenger plane, wouldn't that have caused some cars to turn over just by the force of the plane that close to the highway? And how come the Pentagon didn't protect itself? Or even close the highway, because if this were a true terror attack, they wouldn't know what to expect next. They had 40 minutes since the second plane hit the towers. I could go on and on and on and on. Why hasn't anyone asked The Dick why he had the stand down order?

The 9/11 commission is as worthless as the Warren commission. I believe neither.

9. That's mostly a bunch of smoke created by the truther scammers

I addressed the Pentagon above.

The "explosions" they heard when the plain hit were elevators slamming into the basement. The elevator cables were severed by the aircraft. Plus a fire ball from the aircraft went through an elevator shaft and entering the lobby. The buildings didn't collapse from the basements so the bombs in the basement story makes no sense.

The WTC wasn't losing money and there was high occupancy.

There's no way that a fire created by a Boeing 767 inside a building could easily be put out. Even from the streets below one could see the intensity of the fires.

Look at how much thermite was used and how little damage was done to the thin aluminum hood of the car. Imagine how much more you would need to melt a steel beam, it would not only be impossible to paint on but you would need tons of it placed all around the building.

called off the hits on Obama before 9/11. That always made me suspicious.
