It's Fine to be Nice, Just Don't Let it Show at the Office
A series of four surveys shows that nice guys (and gals) really do finish last in the corporate rat race. If you're too agreeable, you might just get the boot. The problem with being too agreeable is that people think they can take advantage of you. And they do. If they know you won't complain if they cut your pay, guess what they're going to do? That's right. The squeaky wheel really does get the greased palm.
