Wisconsin HQ of the campaign to recall Republican senators was burned down ..email from Alan Grayson
Last weekend, a fire burned down a local Wisconsin headquarters of the campaign to recall Republican senators.

Look at the picture of the wreckage closely. The office burned down. But the spirit of solidarity with Wisconsin workers miraculously survived.

Next Tuesday, we don't need a miracle in Wisconsin. We need a people-powered victory for workers everywhere.

Today, I'll be joining a conference call with national volunteers who are part of the "Call Out The Vote" phone bank into Wisconsin. Can you join us and make calls from home?

This fight is about workers. It's about families. It's about money being taken from the middle class to fund tax cuts for big corporations.

It's also about political accountability. We need to win this.

"Call Out The Vote" is a great program run by the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America.

This is your chance to make a difference.

Solidarity.

5. Because it's the "corporate media," owned and manipulated by the rich and powerful. This media no
longer researches stories to find facts to report to the masses. The media now reports propaganda, lies, half truths and tows the corporate line. There are very few media sources anymore who dig for the truth and report it independently of a corporate structure that only wants us to hear certain "approved" stories over and over again, and not report on stories they don't want us to hear about that might shed light on what the government and their corporate masters are doing to destroy unions, the middle class and the social safety net that protects the majority of the citizenry. This lack of integrity in the media, is what forces those of us who think for ourselves (and who don't just take the media's word for shit), to search and investigate online for ourselves, to find out the truth about what they are telling us in their manipulated reporting, and to find out about the stories they are trying to keep from us because their corporate masters dictate that they not cover. It really is a sad situation and I am as disgusted as you proud patriot. We no longer have an independent press, and without that, a little more of our Democracy is stolen.
Lou

4. Kinda like how a 400 person Tea Party rally gets front page
while a 4000 person Liberal rally never makes the "news."
