Very refreshing when all the other news seems so bad.

I'm so happy for her and her husband that she survived and seems to be doing so well.

2. Glad to see her up and around.
Not surprised that the Republicans were applauding. She's been well liked and supported by them in Arizona because of her willingness to compromise and, of course, her personality. It's the teapers that hate her. Rep. Giffords is a hard-working woman. Wish she were my Rep.
