Push Michael Moore Off a Cliff
Democracy Now!:

"Push Michael Moore Off a Cliff": Health Insurance Whistleblower Wendell Potter Details How the Industry Attacked Michael Moore’s Film Sicko

When Academy Award-winning film director Michael Moore announced he would be making a documentary about the American healthcare system in 2004, it put the health insurance industry on high alert. One person who immediately went on the offensive was Wendell Potter, who at the time was the chief spokesperson for insurance giant CIGNA. 1. This is how health insurance industry killed universal health care
Instead of universal medicare, america pays for expensive, emergency care for folks with no health care. So, the industry pours a few million dollars into deriding "Sicko". It's chicken feed when they keep raising their rates in double digits year after year. This is the power of money influencing constituents and their elected representatives. Health care mammoths buy millions of dollars of political television ads in secret and what they are really paying for is political clout with career politicians who must have the campaign funds or watch their political careers end. We live in a plutocracy and most of americans are still scratching their heads. The plutocracy will continue to rule this country until the people wise up enough to stop believing 60 second negative ads and bumper sticker catch phrases all designed to persuade you. It will eventually end with campaign reform but that's many years down the road.

2. I agree
I don't think too many people understand what the term "propaganda" means.
