5. Never much cared for POTY
It's often the president or whatever is trendy (earth, 'you,' etc.).

And some of these choices . . . sheesh. Jonathan Franzen (how many have even heard of him?) LeBron James (who gives a shit?) Steve Jobs (is the new iPad really that important?) Lady Gaga (don't get me started).

My prediction, either Beck or Assange.
