2. I actually heard this on the air yesterday
I take a nap at lunch and there is NO BETTER WAY to power down the brain than a few minutes of Rush

CALLER: Um, I like Obama and I was wondering why people are always blaming him on (sic) all the crisis, you know?

RUSH: Well, because he's responsible for most of them.

CALLER: What's he do that makes him responsible?

RUSH: Well, you're 13 years old. I'm gonna try to answer your question. First he's president of the United States.

CALLER: Yep.

RUSH: It is his agenda, things that he has secured -- health care, all the financial policies -- that are literally causing people to lose their jobs. This president, Zach, does not like this country as it was founded. He has a -- a disagreement with the way this country should be run and the way that people should manage and govern their affairs. He believes the United States has been mean to other people all over the world. He believes the United States, in our 200-plus years, have stolen other people's oil and used it for ourselves; that we have cared not a whit about the environment, that we polluted and that we are destroying the climate. The president believes that big corporations are evil and mean and need to be downsized and gotten even with, and he's on a path to achieve just this.

CALLER: Well--

RUSH: Yeah, you have a question? Feel free to jump in any time.

CALLER: Oh. Well, we are polluting beaches and everything. So...

RUSH: Well, Zach, who's telling you that we're polluting beaches? When is the last time...? You're 13. When's the last time you were at a beach?

CALLER: I go to the lake quite a bit, and there's always rocks and glass on the shoreline and everything, and paper bags.

RUSH: Right. And so that means...?

CALLER: Like, people need to be more careful to the environment.

RUSH: But Obama's been president for almost two years.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: Why are there still rocks and glass on the shoreline and paper bags?

CALLER: He needs to do something about that.

RUSH: He has been, at least he says he has been. Do you believe that the climate of the earth is being destroyed and that the United States is responsible for that?

4. I listened, also. Limbaugh's take came across as preposterous.

I think he was in pain about trying to sound reasonable when giving the "take down America" rationale.

6. It's hard to listen to this tape and not yell,"You liar!" over and over again.
He is incredible. I can't listen to more than a minute or so of his trash, but did hold on for this one. It is easy to see how he has swayed the opinion of thousands with his idiocy...much worse than Beck, although Beck is catching up to him...and dangerous. I actually DID catch myself shouting "Liar!" at the end.

To indoctrinate an innocent kid with his garbage. I heard him telling the kid that Obama doesn't like America, horrible stuff like that.

8. Well, 13 is about the average mental age of his listeners, so I
imagine he felt right at home.

9. Limbaugh is a master at
using a convoluted argument to win a discussion. He is wrong 100% of the time but manages to convince his gullible listeners. He is the perfect corporate propaganda minister.
