Paul Krugman called it "Obama's Paradox." The administration has this string of victories and achievements to point to and yet his poll numbers are falling among the American people. Krugman blames the political pundits for creating a false impression and the administration for falling into their trap.

"What follows is speculation about what's holding his numbers down: He's too liberal for a center-right nation. No, he's too intellectual, too Mr. Spock, for voters who want more passion. And so on."

DEM leaders need to connect the dots. Ergo: ditch the Clintonesque, "Post-partisan" kumbaya Play Book and get back to what *works*.

4. ''post-partisan'' really means ''post-democracy''

''Post-partisan'' means we will get the same foreign and domestic policy regardless of who we vote for, so we voted for Obama and got more of Bush's wars and Mitt Romney's health care reform.

The long term effect will be to encourage voter apathy, so corporations can make pols do what they want without us interfering.
