Corporate Lobbyist Party kills jobs bill & payment protection for doctors!!
The GOP's politics of destruction (of American society) goes on unabated. Killing Obama (politically) and the Dems trumps helping the country out of this REPUBLICAN DYSTOPIA. They created the economic disaster now they fight to keep Obama and the Democrats from succeeding in healing the country from it.

said it before, I'll say it again: Who needs al Kaida when you've got the GOP!

from Huffington Post:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/06/17/senate-jobs-bill-fails-again_n_616732.html

" Republicans, a lone Democrat and Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.)(This turd is not fucking Democrat!!. Stop calling him that!_JW) on Thursday evening defeated an urgent bill to reauthorize expired several expired domestic aid programs.

The 56-to-40 vote left Democrats with no clear path forward on legislation that, among other things, would protect doctors from a 21 percent drop in Medicare reimbursement rates, reauthorize extended unemployment benefits, and provide $24 billion in federal assistance to state Medicaid programs, preventing an expected wave of public sector layoffs.

"Tonight, every single Republican voted to deny states critical aid that would keep firefighters, police offices and teachers employed," said Jim Manley, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). "And tonight, every single Republican voted to tell the one in ten Americans who have lost their jobs that they are on their own."

1. Which wing of the Corporate Lobbyist Party are you referring to?
The GOP wing or the Democratic wing?

2. I don't blame the lobbyists any more.
The politician - by this time - knows he or she is wrong
accepting their influence.

Excuses of 'pragmatism' or election or legislative 'expedienc'
are code words for extreme corruption.

3. The article did NOT call Liebermann a Democrat
(note it says "I-Conn) after his name. The lone Democrat referred to is Ben Nelson of Nebraska.

Why these two don't just admit that they should be in the Republican causus is beyond me.
