President Obama to Nationalize Energy Industry Tonight!
It is finally here. For the first time in United States history, we will finally... FINALLY!!... get it right. President Obama will pull off his next great coup, and nationalize (more correctly, "de-Reaganize") the energy industry.

This will be a SIGNIFICANT BLOW to the effectiveness and the financial stability of the illegal republican party.

BP North America will feel the initial wrath of the progressive American people, and have to pay billions of dollars for retribution. We must make sure that such monies are NOT paid to republican interests in Louisiana, Alabam, and Mississippi, but to those poor fishermen, small family businesses, and other progressive citizens whose lives have been utterly devastated by the Halliburton-induced explosion.

But BP will not be the only justified criminal organization to be affected. The ENTIRE triad of Planetary Death: Oil, Coal, and Nuclear... will now be subject to the administration's control. Instead of massive profits for the republican party-sponsored oil barons, we will be able to divert such monies to wind, solar, and other clean fuels. From there, we can accelerate the elimination of the private car, the jet airliner, and the SUV to that of public transportation such as buses, light rail, and high-speed rail.

This is our legacy. This is our time!

For a recap, here are images that have angered our senses and put a huge hit on our collective consciences, as well as the perpetrators whom are 100% responsible:

These images have conjured up REAL terror, from REAL terrorists (Dick Cheney, George W. Bush), and the real terrorist organizations: Halliburton, BP, and Exxon-Mobil.

This is the legacy of the orgnizations whose existence was due to one, and ONLY one, organization: The republican party.

When you think of this sick image, think of the money that republicanist bastards make.

When you see this image, think of the hyperbole of Sarah Palin, Pat Robertson, and George Allen.

Ronald Reagan, the MOST EVIL republican of ALL time, who would have destroyed the world in the 80's were it not due to the heroic efforts of Mikhail Gorbachev.

Tonight, the entire republican party's legacy can FINALLY be put to rest.

Let us move forward. Bask in President Obama's titanic speech tonight, and celebrate the end of a nightmarish era in which we will FINALLY take control of our planetary health, and champion our progressive causes.

Let us work on not just passing laws, but in codifying them in a Constitutional manner to prevent the expected November juggernaut.

Finally, we must...MUST... indemnify the republican party... it must be done!

14. This site is not for enjoyment
This site is for the promotion of the Democratic Party; more specifically, the promotion of progressive values that the rest of the planet is moving miles ahead of the US on. I really don't seen any enjoyment in living in a country with stone-age mental case republicanists.

2. I'll ask...
Setting aside the hyperbole, do you have a link/source for this nationalization claim?

3. Well, I doubt that's going to happen.
But, maybe you have sources I can't access, somewhere...

Or, maybe not.

10. No links, just common sense
This is about the direction he's been taking since the disaster has happened. Nationalization will be gradual, but will nonetheless happen, and tonight is the point at which history will say the de-capitalization of the energy industry will take forth.

Good question, by the way.

22. More like no links, but its what I want to happen
Common sense and politics rarely commune. I can not see any form of nationalization happening, especially at this time with this president.

13. Damn, I thought it was true and was ready to
jump up and down for joy.

But this is what should be done as other countries have done.

I appreciate the brief feeling of relief that came from imagining what it would be like to have a government that actually works for us.

Indemnify? I don't think the word means what you think it means. Were you shooting for something like "indict"?

16. How about bringing the troops home to clean up the spill?
The oil spill and corporations like BP are the real threat to national security. And while I'm not particularly interested in propping up the myth of the modern soldier as a hero, cleaning up the oil spill would show great heroism and commitment to the nation while actually working to make us all safer.

protest too much, methinks. Besides lacking a certain degree of sincerity, the OP borrows from right wing arrogance. I suspect that we have (walks like, quacks like) a duck in our midst...

23. This reeks of RW troll.
Outlawing "Republicantilism" or whatever, banning the "private car" and the jet airplane, etc. "Indemnify"? I'm surprised it doesn't say "Our time has come to help Obama convert the world to the Muslinist religion".

29. Has anyone else noticed that "BanTheGOP" never comes back to defend himself/herself?
I have seen its posts before, and they are typically hit-and-run OPs, exaggerated with this kind of ridiculous hyperbole. Inflamed bowels and such, from shitting out remnants of Rush Limbaugh.

31. Would you give me some examples?
I generally don't reply to most responses, unless they have valid requests for clarity. If I had to respond to every yahoo progressive wannabe who don't have valid points, then I would be spending half my time in a koo koo chair.

SOMEONE has to start threads, and ivoke thought and passion into the masses, and the republicanist bastards are doing all they can to thwart us. I can't research and work my networks like I do without having to respond to every Tom Delay, Dick Cheney, and George W. Bush every time someone has a snit about what I say.

30. Not that I would mind castrating the Republican Party . . .
. . . but isn't there a way to do that sounds a little less psychotic???

"BantheGOP" is either a Republican plant to discredit DU, or someone with good intentions gone haywire.

BUT, if he's /she's not a Republican plant, then I think we may have at last located our answer to G. Gordon Liddy.
