Right Wing Media Group Attacks MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan Guest Hosting The Young Turks
Note: "NewsBusters" is the laughable right wing smear 'watchdog' group (think of a right wing Media Matters minus the facts and logic).

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/tim-graham/2010/06/06/msnbcs-dylan-ratigan-guest-hosted-leftist-young-turks-radio-show|MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan Sells Liberal Groups Like Soap on 'Young Turks' Radio Show>

MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan moonlighted on the leftist radio show The Young Turks on May 27 and the show's YouTube channel carries a series of those interviews, in which Ratigan helpfully promoted the left-wing causes with loving air time. Take his http://www.youtube.com/tytinterviews#p/u/17/nPS77553ylg|interview with Jon Soltz> of the liberal group Votevets.org, and he promoted their new https://secure.ga3.org/03/oilspill|campaign commercial> for a “climate change” bill. Apparently, you help veterans with a carbon tax...

...After a two-minute sales job from Soltz, including their support of repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell and their support of Joe Sestak's Democratic campaign for Senate, Ratigan replied that he was a fervent supporter, and then added that our military works so hard, only to keep most people from being exposed to the truth...

1. sometimes it's hard to know what NewsBusters is complaining about
Edited on Mon Jun-07-10 01:20 PM by Enrique
omg, Ratigan went on TYT and interviewed John Soltz! John Soltz! The same John Soltz whom I've seen a million times on MSNBC and has probably been on all the channels including Fox!

9. Usually their complaint is a variation of this:
"The Lamestream Media covered a major news issue and didn't include the quarter-truth that Roger Ailes has ordered the entire right wing noise machine to recite like a mantra until people start to accept it without question. This proves that they're biased."

2. Pssh. Another typical intellophobic conservative whose brain is decomposing by the years.
So what if Ratigan guest-hosted the Young Turks? Conservative pundits guest host conservative shows all the time too! For example, Michelle Malkin and Laura Ingraham have guest-hosted The O'Reilly Factor, Bill O'Reilly's Fox News program.

7. Another quote from this amusing piece
...Then Ratigan asked about skewed media coverage, which caused Soltz to turn around and praise MSNBC, and even plugged watching al-Jazeera for a more open-minded view...

3. Let me see if I can guess what this organization thinks
If a news organization says anything not in agreement with the neocon party line, they're biased. Fox News is neutral to left-leaning.

That was a pretty funny article. "Apparently, you help veterans with a carbon tax..." THAT'S EXACTLY RIGHT! K&R

4. Why a carbon tax helps veterans.
Because veterans are people too.

if we can get off fossil fuels in general, we don't have to send them to the Middle East to "spread democracy".
