Facebook Group Boasts “1,000,000 People Who Want to Plug the BP Oil Spill with Sarah Palin”

On the info page of his group, Neimand writes, ‘Sometimes, disaster calls for thinking outside the box. A radical departure from the norm, if you will.” He feels that we can stop the oil leak, plus, “find a purpose for Sarah Palin,” if Palin will allow herself to be used as the plug.

Palin has recently been catching flak (when is she not catching flak?) for remarks she made blaming environmentalists for the spill in the Gulf. Palin would prefer that we drill in “safer…areas” like the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

No word yet, on whether Palin will be participating in the plugging the spill. I suppose it will depend on whether or not she can have an internet connection so that she can continually update her Facebook with snarky comments about whatever pops in her head. She could always commandeer the “Live Feed.” The upside for Palin if she participates, her unauthorized biographer, Joe McGinniss, is probably not going to follow her there.
