Questions have been raised about what's the good of HCR for those who make $10 an hour. My post here:

attempts to point out the benefits can not all be expressed in economic terms.

1. My fear is that I'm going to be poorer with IINO
"Insurance In Name Only."

2. I could hardly get much poorer and still be working. The "what's in it for me?"
is the Republican motto along with "You're On Your Own".

This is like asking about gay rights if you are straight: "what's in it for me?"

3. I already am poorer and alive

If I get any poorer, I'll be in the streets.

As to health insurance keeping me alive? They're the bastards that told me to eat shit and die when I was septic from impacted wisdom teeth. Ok, they didn't tell me to eat shit and die. They told me my 25% body weight loss, severe insomnia, blurred vision, recurring golf-ball sized lump under one arm and various and sundry other symptoms were "all in my head" and prescribed sleeping pills to save themselves the cost of a CBC.

My dentist recognized I had a raging infection, put me on a broad spectrum antibiotic and saved my apparently worthless life.

Fuck the insurance industry thieves. FUCK THEM.

AND FUCK THE ASSHOLES WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR THEM TO NOW EXTORT A COUPLE GRAND FROM ME ANNUALLY IN EXCHANGE FOR.....NOTHING. :grr: :grr: :grr:

4. At this rate, I'd be better off dead.
That money so glibly discussed is the difference between food and shelter and...none... for me and many others.

But passing this bill will do much to assuage the guilt of the upper class.

5. I don't believe the upper classes are capable of guilt.
This thing is about politicians trying to look like they're solving a problem while simultaneously acquiring corporate campaign contributions for decades.

They've been spectacularly "successful" at it.

6. Can I unrec this more than once?
ProSense posts nothing but NonSense.

All a mandate does is suck away the little money that you might have left, on your measley pay, to buy insurance that doesn't pay for anything.
