That Zany Ann Coulter!
In her latest article she complains about being criticized. But more importantly she reiterates the bit about China having fallen because State Department Officials commented that the Communists were better organized and disciplaned and motivated than the Nationalists.

Yep, by accurately predicting that the Communists would win, State Department activists caused the Communists to win. This is solid logic, that I'd like to see applied elsewhere--the hospital for example.

Patient. "Well, tell me, Doctor, what is it?

Doctor. "Well I'm afraid you have Congenital Lying disease."

Patient. "Why did you give me Congenital Lying Disease, Doc?"

Doctor. "Um . . . . I didn't. I just detected it in your body."

Patient. "Don't change the subject. Isn't it a fact that before I came in here, I didn't know that I had Congenital Lying Disease? Hence I must have gotten it while here."

Doctor. "I'd say it's well advanced too."

Anyway for more interesting analysis and a quote by Former Secretary of State Dean Acheson --> http://politicalcomment.blogspot.com

1. Through out her book
Coulter maintains that the evil liberals were all communist spies.
All her "evidence" is based on something called the Venona papers.
I don't know what to make of it so I checked out this PBS website about Alger Hiss.

2. In spite of what...
Whittaker Chambers and Don Imus say, Le Affaire' Hiss remains one of the great imponderables of history. Considering that at that time in the history of the country, is there was anything to hang on Hiss, they would have done so. I think that many of the allegations were baseless and some came form considered and concerted misdirection on the part of the Soviets.

It was a time tailor made for A$$KKKroft, and I am sure he masturbates regularly, just remembering it.

3. Very true, there were Communist spies...
Undoubtedly there were some Communist spies in the United States just as there were American spies in the Soviet Union.

This fact doesn't make Ann Coulter any less of a wingnut wack-job and rhetorical terrorist. As a note to Ann and other right-wing drooling morons, there were some Communist spies but not the legions and legions the drunkard Joe McCarthy and the mentally-ill Martin Dies dreamed up.

Her efforts to paint the entire political left in the United States as communist agents are about as salient as me writing a book characterizing the entire political right by one of their minority components, i.e. neo-Nazi white-power evangelical terrorists.

She is a clown. No amount of money she will make will make will earn her any credibility or respect. She's nothing more than a pathetic pimp of foolish rhetoric that no one but a total chump would believe.

5. What I love about her book (sarcasticly speaking)
Is how she praises late Senator Joe McCarthy. As pointed out by Joe Conason (though I was aware of this prior to his article) McCarthy defended a group of German SS troopers who slaughtered American POWs during the Battle of the Bulge in an incident known as Malmady.

If such doesn't constitute treason (the name of Coulter's latest book) I don't know what does.
