I predicted the terrible beheading of American Nick Berg of Philadelphia at the hands of the terrorists in Iraq. I blame none other than CBS 60 Minutes. His blood is on their hands as much as it is on the hands of the thugs who murdered him. Do I hear any liberals crying out for an apology? None.

CBS knew the airing of those photos would inflame the Arab world, that was the purpose. To make the USA and George W, Bush look bad heading into the elections. It did not matter that it might cost more lives in the Middle East, so be it, that is one small price for winning the White House in November.

There should be rage against that network; you should let them know they are responsible for a tragedy that could have been avoided.

The left has no sense of country, no patriotism. The left is laughing at the road bumps we are experiencing in Iraq, they love it, they cheer like Palestinians on September 11th, 2001.

Tedd Webb lives in Tampa Florida and does mornings on 970 WFLA.He has been on in Tampa years before Rush so at least you cannot say he is a copycat.He did an ad for full body CT scans to "detect problems early" shortly after he had a heart attack and bypass surgery.Tampa has hatched several right wing chicken-hawks like Glenn Beck,Todd Schnitt and Lionel.The media here is targeted towards shut-ins who live off government checks,the Tampa Tribune is a college intro course in racism and the supervisor of elections is a Jeb appointee.Gasparilla originally had pirates firing real handguns using blanks,as a kid I would see pirates discharge their guns near the ears of black kids.The University of Tampa is a snob college where rich kids transfer when they washout up north,something I learned from a person who evaluated transcripts there.I got to see the future of America growing up in Tampa and characters like Webb are the guys holding cardboard signs every morning 5 to 9.

He tries to pull off that "loveable, but crotchety old man" routine on WFLA's morning show but he's just another neocon a-hole. After a Palestinean suicide bombing, Webb and his cohort Jack Harris will sometimes call up random, American-based Islamic groups and scream at them as if they were responsible for it. Not to mention it's either Webb, or another one of the other WFLA goons, who reads the news during the newsbreaks at the other Clear Channel-owned Tampa stations and frequently editorializes with the inflections of his voice.

Agree with what you said about the Trib. John Sugg made the Trib's management's agenda very transparent with his exposes on Steve Emerson, Emerson's connection to Daniel Pipes and how Emerson and the Trib helped railroad Sami al-Arian.

Agree with you, too, about some of the students at UoT, too.

I wonder if neocon a-holes like Webb expect us to believe that the Iraqi prisoners who escaped, or were released, from Abu Ghraib don't talk to their families, friends or other people in their neighborhood and that this had been building among the Iraqi population for months before the 60 Minutes II story.

10. What screwed up logic

We let the world see the horrors committed by us in the name of liberation. My goodness, they may not like us then. It is all CBS's fault for exposing these heinous acts. They should have kept quiet so our men and women could commit more heinous acts and bring peace and stability to Iraq thorough the use of brutal force - well, kind of like Saddam.
