A New Political Party

I am pondering starting a new political party. I will call it ... The Political Religion Party ...

One might argue that one can not mix politics and religion and I would agree with that. This just would be a political party that defines the religion of politics and does not promote any belief or non belief in any deity or supreme being or lack there of. One only has to believe in the beliefs of the party. Not any different than what I see happening today in the way that people view their political parties.

It will be a party that crosses all political spectrums, embraces all people and puts the people first. In by putting the people first this country will be stronger as a whole and not just benefit the few. It will be based on basic human rights. Some may say that they come from religion and others will may say that they come from within man himself.

Note: When man is mentioned it is not to be taken as man verses woman. It is just easier to state things this way for me. In this party women will have the same rights as any man. If anyone is offended by this, it is not my intention.

The basic tenets of this political party will be based on human dignity and basic human needs. I will try to list down below as many as I can think of.

1.Love ... One will not have to kiss and live with anyone they do not wish to. It is meant to be the position that one does not have to like all but accept that everyone has to the right to be who they are meant to be. Everyone has worth and value as a human being. Everyone will be accepted for who they are.
2.Tolerance ... Disagreements are expected and encouraged. Honest debate is a valuable thing. It brings out new ideas and different ways to look at problems. Under no circumstances will a person be dismissed nor looked down upon by others just because they believe differently.
3.Compassion ... The Party will work to wards including everyone in the this country. No one will excluded because of race, sex, physical appearance, sexual orientation. No one has control over how their brain is wired so they are who and why they are and who among us has the right of judgment?? Help the people that need help, bring them up because it will make this country stronger as a whole.
4.Justice ... Everyone will have the same rights and live under the same laws. No preference will be given to people of means nor political status.

Each candidate running underneath the Party banner will sign a contract to uphold the beliefs of the Party.

I think this is enough to start with. I am sure others will and can think of other things to be added and considered.

The reason I think a new party is needed is because the parties today are only really interested in themselves and how can they get more of their kind get elected. They only look at the labels and not really the person inside that they promote for election. The labels today only add to the decisiveness of this country and really do not add anything.

Today we have Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, Conservatives, Progressive, Right Wing and any number of others. I dare anyone to define anyone of these and find all the people fitting under that label to actually fit with all those beliefs of that label. I do not like labels, all they do is divide.

On this web site there are many that call themselves Progressive. I honestly do not know what that means. How can one be progressive in a regressive society. I feel we are worse off than we have been for a long time. We as a country have drifted away from a country for the people. We have listened to our leaders and they have lead us done a path of destruction. The world is a much smaller place than it ever has been before, but our leaders failed to realize that.

Our leaders from all sections of society have just told us to listen to them, because they knew what was best for us. We have leaders that talk of intolerance, killing, some people are better than others, it is okay that some people are so damn greedy that they cause whole sections of this economy to fail, that is okay because the greedy will take care of you.

Give us the means to take care of ourselves instead of grabbing all of it for yourselves. I want my country back. I want control of my future and not leave it in the hands of a few. We do not have to worry about outside threats, because our leaders seem to be doing just a fine job of destroying this country all by themselves.
