Soros: China should lead ‘new world order’

China should step up to the plate as the leader of a new global economic order, and the US shouldn't fear the establishment of a global currency because it would help the economy, billionaire investor George Soros says.

In a recent interview with the Financial Times, Soros said that China hasn't been pulling its weight in reorganizing the global economy after last year's economic collapse, and the way to convince China to lead is to allow it to "own" the reorganization of the global financial system that is underway.

"You really need to bring China into the creation of a new world order, a financial world order," Soros told FT.

5. I have said for a while

My thoughts for a while have been that the US was in decline, unless someone stepped up to the plate and stopped it. The people that have that power have no desire to do so. I also said I saw China being the one country to be able to take the place of the US.

I saw it as a power play of the rich from Europe and the US, working together perhaps, for they have the money to work from wherever. I also see the religious power entering into the process also. The larger Churches have always worked within governments to make the masses more pliable for the government to control. There is a lot of money within the rich and the churches to pull this off. Who is going to stop them. The masses do not have the money to put up much of a fight.

Until the people in government in this country get off their asses and really do something we may be at the mercy of the rest of the world.

6. China's got too many of its own issues

plus it doesn't even float its currency. If it did, its precious export based economy would have the brakes put on it.

I'm also one who believes that china inflates their economic numbers in accordance with what Mish (Mish's global economic trend analysis) says.

China is going to be a very powerful country in the near future, but its still got quite a way to go before it begins to rival the US
