a few Acorn employess advised on tax evasion? OH MY! How about tax shelters sold by Public Accountng
firms.

http://dir.salon.com/story/opinion/huffington/2003/02/12/tax_shelters/index.html">Sprint CEO William Esrey and his right-hand man Ron LeMay paid no taxes on a total of $288 million in stock-option profits thanks to some highly imaginative tax shelters dreamed up by the accounting alchemists at Ernst & Young.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_avoidance_and_tax_evasion">the IRS estimated in 2007 that Americans owed $345 billion more than they paid, or about 14% of federal revenues for the fiscal year of 2007.<4>

Swiss Bank USB to Pay U.S. In Tax Havens Scheme

Feb. 19--The largest bank in Switzerland admitted Wednesday to defrauding the IRS and agreed to pay the U.S. government $780 million it made by setting up offshore income tax havens for thousands of wealthy Americans -- a substantial number in South Florida.

http://taxjustice.blogspot.com/2009/02/us-tax-gap-new-analysis.html">US Treasury research suggesting that an earlier $345 billion US Internal Revenue Service (IRS) estimate for the total U.S. tax gap didn't include the full international tax gap (of up to $123 billion, or a round $100 billion that Senator Carl Levin) uses - because the IRS hasn't measured the international tax gap.

The tax gap is the DIFERENCE in the amount of taxes OWED the United States and what is PAID to the United States. IRS estimates it's $345 Billion (that's no typo that's a "B") dollars PLUS the international tax gap estimated at $123 Billion for a total of almost half a TRILLION dollars EACH YEAR.

If Conservatives are interested in tax cheats there are plenty to go after without bothering with a couple kids at Acorn who were talking to two agents-provateurs.

AND If Acorn is deemed worth the time and effort of an investigation for some possible instances of irregular voter recruitment practices then let's do it!

But let's also investigate the State of Florida, office of Secretary of State (katherine harris) for infringing on thousands of voters rights to vote in the 2000 election. Is there a statute of limitations on subversion of a democratic election? INtimidation of voters enterring voting locations, misdirection of voters to the wrong voting locations. And let's not forget the purging from the rolls of thousands of certified voters.

and... let us not forget the Republican Congressional staffers for Inciting a riot, to stop a recount of votes and thus abort an election (2000) and subvert the democratic process - in Dade county court house, Dade Cty, Florida. This was a coordinated planned attack. These people were bussed in from Washington D.C.

And of course, stopping a legal count of the votes in Florida by Antonin "The Reign Maker" Scalia. Thus the "Coronation Consigliari" of George Bush abrogated the rights of millions of voters to a legitimate democratic election.

Yes, let's look into all irregularities especially with regard to their egregiousness and their magnitude.!

1. What ever happened to
charging the Acorn people who screwed up individually, and leaving the organization alone? Does that mean that say, a member of my Union gets a DUI or evades taxes, they shut down the whole union? Talk about cutting the nose off to spite the face! And what about AIG and all the other corrupt organizations who's members are criminals? Do they shut the whole thing down because some perpetrated crimes? HELL NO!
