Assassination, by innuendo.
Edited on Mon Sep-07-09 09:11 AM by Gman2
The ending of the fairness doctrine, the breaking of the social contract for public good, and in large part Newt's special arrangement for Rupert Murdoch, have changed forever the landscape of what used to be referred to as journalism. These changes, have paved the way for advocacy news and media. This new animal has evolved to command likely half of the political activity, of the Republican party. The plans and schemes are at least shared liberally with those media organs. What emerges, is a campaign. A concerted effort, to change the so-called middle. More than any other factor, Fox news and Rush, among others, fight tirelessly, to paint all of media as in the tank for the left. And painting all their own, that dont goosestep, as hippies. This might at first blush seem to be counterproductive. In fact, it is just part of the attempt to change the midpoint of what is considered the reasonable mans perspective.

For the past eight months, coincidently the length of Obaba's term thus far, the right has been working to change the political continuum. Whereas in all our academia, fascism and communism/socialism were opposite ends of the spectrum. Now, these ancient definitions are quaint. The left, encompasses all hte tyrants, and the right is pure. Pure as the driven snow. All their vices have been scrubbed.

Now, any that would step foot over that massaged and manipulated imaginary midpoint, they scream fascist, communist, socialist, murderer, evil. I have been debating libertarians that have shepherded this process for years. I feel their presence in this. In fact, their have been official declarations of the Republican party working in concert this coming season. Soon, all our men and women of fine standing, will be just scum, as they too, are on the wrong side of the Fox News line. This is McCarthy owning the right media.

While I would think Americans capable of discerning a scam normally, in these harsh times, we can expect luddites, as happened with the industrial revolution. This would be a fruitful avenue of exposure. Neoluddites. Our capabilities in framing issues, pales in comparison to the right's. These issues MUST be addressed.

Van Johnson is gone, because he is too liberal for this country. Says over and over, with no need of further proof, Fox. End of discussion. Would you like that repeated? This is the game. those names, and the moved goalposts, have delivered us as lambs to the Republican slaughter. Our innate gentileness, usually prevents us from such seedy tactics. It is also against the American taxpayer. But, if we don't get in and wrestle those pigs, We'll find ourselves again, begging for our bacon from fascist pigs.

We must at this time, take an at long last sir stand, and begin to counteract the anti-intellectualism that is being disseminated by the right, or suffer the consequences of those that foam and spit, talking about how we are destroying America. And how we are the business end of the antichrist.

Or, the public might begin to despise the same ole, same ole. Nevertheless, we can't take that chance. Let's roll.
