Durbin named to DNC position, Kerry ahead 73-12% in Chicago,
http://www.suntimes.com/output/sweet/cst-edt-sweet22.html

--Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) has just been named to a top Democratic National Committee position by Democratic presidential hopeful John Kerry, a role that casts Durbin as a Kerry surrogate on the stump and a top defender of his fellow senator on TV.--

---Bush was running only 3 points ahead of Kerry in Downstate Illinois, defined in this poll as everyplace outside the Chicago media market, with most of Kerry's muscle found among Chicago voters, who backed Kerry 73 percent to 12 percent for Bush.--

1. Durbin needs to meet with Daily
and unlock some "family secrets" for getting out the vote.

This election is so important, I for one wouldn't mind if democrats got to vote twice, or even if dead people turned out. (Classic stratigies of Richie the elder)

As long as Shrub is out on his ass, nothing else matters.

2. That's sort of hypocritical
Saying that it's wrong for conservatives to be cheating with the electronic voting system, but then have us do it since they're doing it too. Two wrongs don't make a right.

In the words of the top state Republican (and perhaps the only one), the Republicans in Illinois are in deep water and far from shore.

4. you're 100% correct....
but getting Shrub out of office is paramount. I really feel if he is elected, there won't be any more elections for awhile.
