Sanford is just a piece of lying scum. If he was trying to reconcile with his wife
Why did he even go to Argentina? And why did he stay for a week and cry everyday? And why did he just try to disappear like that was a normal course of action to take? And why did he not tell the people that he was responsible to? And why did he tell about his little side job as a high schooler that involved the coordinating a hike on the Appalachian Trail? And why did he then think that it was important to tell the people of the country that he was sorry for his affair but not for the fleeing with the crying and the lying and the not calling for days?

Gee talk about screwed up values. And a lousy work ethic too. He should step aside immediately.
