Conservative Judge Rules Against Yoo, Torture
http://www.slate.com/id/2220805/

It's sad when a conservative is doing more than our side:
White's decision is a major blow not only to past Bush officials but also to Obama's DoJ, which urged White to throw out the lawsuit. The new administration has repudiated Yoo's legal memos, but it still defended him in court.

1. Like I said before the Repubs in DOJ will rediscover the law just to keep their jobs.

2. But obviously Obama and Holder are not discovering the law whatever
their fancy degrees. So they probably will not keep their jobs. I do not for one moment believe that the majority of Americans want to skim over Bushista war crimes and torture. There has to be a very nefarious reason that Obama is so intent upon keeping the lid on. All I can think of is the warrantless wiretapping (what did they get on Obama?) or threats to his family (which he could handle in other ways). Nothing else makes sense. That moving on agenda is balderdash. He isn't moving on anyway or he'd never be going to court to defend the likes of John Yoo. Obama's moving on centers on excusing war crimes despite our treaty obligations to investigate them.

3. Kicked and recommended for Judge White's sense of justice and decision to uphold the rule of law.
Thanks for the thread, grillo.
