Why is this cartoonist pretending the U.S. is somehow pissed off and protesting? The only thing the U.S. is protesting, is the rich, and everything the Repugs and their lapdogs, the DLC, have done.

2. Sarah, you're right -- the questioner here should be portrayed as the news media

It is the media (and the Repugs) who are taking this incredibly short view of the process.

The Frank Rich NYT column today (http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x8281043) considering the "Katrina Moment" is a perfect example. Moment? Really? It took years to get into this problem and no "moment" contains the real answer or captures the real problems or solutions.

3. Exactly! The media, who was complicit with BUSH on everything....

are the ones attacking Obama. The people are not. In fact, his popularity is extremely high. We need to write and protest garbage like this. The media seems to want to reflect anything that is Republican.
