An open letter to the people of the world

I wrote this letter through tears a few years ago. It was an open letter to the people of Iran, Iraq, Israel, US, our military, and then president asshat.

I sent it to every major newspaper and website throughout the world that I could think of. At the time, only one chose to publish it. The Hindustan Times in India, that boast of about 1 billion readers.

Since then, it was picked up by dozens of other sites. This is just a link to one that I happened to find today. Through the many translations, it has picked up an interesting and decidedly Middle Eastern vernacular.

I have received thousands of emails from all over the world. Most would bring tears to your eyes, but some were indeed very menacing. I was waiting for my rendition. My whole family was.

4. I just read your post on the peoplesvoice.com and find

that I agree with you completely. Given the fact that we now have a new President, I hope all the topics you wrote about will be properly addressed by him. I do not envy his job, it is a superhuman task.

You were brave to have written the first one for worldwide distribution. It was right on the mark.
