Obama supporters will also take the chance to bid farewell to his controversial predecessor George Bush – by throwing shoes at a giant piñata strung from the ceiling of Bar Aspen on South Bridge ...

Edinburgh University Students Association is saying farewell to the out-going president with a "We Survived George Bush" party, while student Emily Williamson, 19, will attend Obama's swearing-in ceremony in the US capital, along with Edinburgh MP Nigel Griffiths and author JK Rowling ...

CITY MP Nigel Griffiths .. one of the few British politicians attending Barack Obama's inauguration today .. said .. in the US capital .. "Everyone is just completely over the moon."
