Santorum Concedes in Voter Fraud Question
Rick Santorum, who lost his Senate seat in a landslide a couple years ago, is accused of voter fraud in Penn Hills, PA. This is a story brewing for a long time, but it appears Santorum has decided not to fight the charges anymore, instead satisfied to blame the big old scary Democrats for his perpetration of voter fraud.

3. Sadly, you didn't link to the latest story on this: "Santorum's vote in Allegheny County is upheld"
Santorum's vote in Allegheny County is upheld

Allegheny County elections officials today declared Rick Santorum something he already thought he was: a voter in Penn Hills.

Elections director Mark Wolosik ruled against a challenge to absentee ballots cast Nov. 4 by Mr. Santorum and his wife, Karen, saying the petitioner, Ed Vecchio, a Penn Hills Democratic committeeman, did not present sufficient evidence that the couple does not reside there.

"Wow! My vote counts!" said Mr. Santorum, reached in Northern Virginia, where he and his family have lived since he lost re-election to the Senate in 2006.

The Santorums maintained a residential listing at a home they own in Penn Hills. Two years ago, Mr. Vecchio's wife, Erin Vecchio, a Penn Hills school board member and chair of that community's Democratic committee, challenged the family's residency, forcing them to withdraw their children from the school district, which had underwritten tuition for a cyber charter school they attended from their home.

5. The story linked here
is the second round of litigation. Yes, you are right to reference the first round, but the fat lady sang this second time with Santorum giving up.

What happened was that Santorum said he wasn't going to bother turning up - and they found in his favour anyway.

4. Santorum.......
Sadly, the link to the Post-Gazette is correct.
Santorum is NOT well thought of here in western PA, especially since he owns a modest house in suburban Penn Hills and claims it as his residence. However, for the past several years he and his family have lived in a NON-modest house in Virginia.
However, Santorum enrolled his children in a PA cyberschool and the Penn Hills School District had to pay for it since he was claiming to be a resident of the district, costing the district thousands of dollars per year! The same Penn Hills people who challenged his vote are the ones that caught him in the cyberschool robbery and blew the whistle on that.
Why he continues to perpetuate this residence fraud is beyond me.
