Bush Awards National Medal of the Arts to Disney Hacks
The National Medal for the Arts and National Medal for the Humanities awards are out, and some of them seem to be actually deserving. The award to Stan Lee of Spiderman fame is a bit odd, but I’ll let it pass, if the Late Night comics likely won’t. The doofus move by George Bush is awarding the medal to the creators of “It’s a Small World.”

1. Since we gave the Presidential Medal of Freedom to the guy who invented Gitmo,
Donald Rumsfeld, it makes perfect sense to find the least deserving hack to receive the National Medal of Arts.

3. These guys might have written other deserving stuff
But their writing It's a Small World should get them thrown in Gitmo for crimes against humanity.

5. No, I am not making this up . . .

Hell, I think of about 500 people better suited to the job, starting with Paula Dean and ending with Meat Loaf, and that's without even trying hard.

6. Stunning
Yes, Meat Loaf would be better, as would the guy on the corner selling Velvet Elvises.
