Post Endorses Obama, Slams McCain
The Washington Post endorsed Barack Obama today, but thier editorial on the endorsement is most engaging when it details McCain’s faults. It points out how he is just like Bush, hoping for the exile of Bush policymakers. That's harsh. It describes McCain as erratic, but errs by ignoring the McCain temperament, which voters are running away from.

3. Aleready sucking up to the next administration
Having subscribed to the Post since 1990, I can honestly say the Washington Post is all about power. They suck up to whoever is in power, although they do more far more sucking-up to repukes in general.

4. I agree
It's not a good local newspaper, it's a cliche. They want to be invited to the right parties and all. I wish we had a geniune newspaper that would be about reporting the news, but that's too much to ask. I read the Post every day and have for most of my life.

I still want the endorsement.

The LA Times endorsed today, too.

6. I don't get the politics of newspaper endorsments
I mean, why don't they endorse earlier. Is any paper stupid enough to actually endorse McCain?

7. Yes there are such.
The New York Post, The Washington Times, The Wall Street Journal, all endorsed McCain.

They are also owned by staunch Republicans and conservatives so there you go.

Both the New York Post and WSJ are owned by Rupert "Fox News" Murdoch.
